Privacy Policy
Ownelle is a personal-growth experience. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We may collect account details, consent records, choices you make inside Ownelle, progress and check-in information, feedback, support messages, professional-access requests, and technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
If you use reflective writing, the Companion, My Story My Book, photos, or sharing tools, the content you choose to enter may be processed to provide that feature. Do not enter information about another person unless you have permission.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Ownelle, save your progress, respond to support, improve the experience, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
AI-assisted features
Some features may send the text you submit to an AI service provider to generate a response or draft. AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect. Avoid including information you do not want processed by that provider, and do not rely on Ownelle for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.
Sharing and service providers
We use hosting, database, security, email, and AI service providers to operate Ownelle. They may process information for us under their applicable terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Ownelle. Members can use the in-product deletion control or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Some limited records may remain where the law or security needs require it.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security. Use a unique password and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your choices
You may decline optional sharing, stop using Ownelle, request account help, or ask us about your information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Age limit
Ownelle is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer member accounts to children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@ownelle.com.
